Collect A Books Billy

Here's a recent oddball pickup for the Billy Williams collection:

This is the cover of an eight page book from the Line Drive Collect A Books set.  Impel put out this 36-player set in 1991 and Billy's was the last one on the checklist.  I was able to get this for a mere 99¢.

Let's take a look at the rest of the book...

...page two has 1970 or 1972 Billy showing off his sweet swing, while...

....page three has some personal info and a picture of 1973 or 1974 Billy along the batting cage at Shea.

The middle of the book, pages four and five...

....features a short Billy bio.  One problem...look at the uniform number on the back of the player.  Does it look like a five?  It does to me, or at least more like a five, with a straight top, instead of the curve a 6 should have for Billy's #26.  If that is a five, then the picture (from 1969--the centennial patch is on the sleeve) is either Nate Oliver (#15) or Willie Smith (#25).

The orientation of the pages changes on pages six and seven as they give us...

...his career stats and a nice quote.  Finally, the back page has a...

....caricature of Billy.

Not only did I get the Billy book for 99¢, but I got...
