The Cubs right fielder (Jeromy Burnitz?) drifted into the corner to catch a fly ball. He had some trouble tracking it down, I can't recall whether the catch was made.

Next shot is a panorama of Wrigley looking out from behind the plate. Joe Morgan says something about how the fielder had trouble tracking it down due to the darkness. Joe circles the right field corner in yellow and says, "See that shadowy corner in right field? The light can't get in there. That's why there's a shadow."Adam Kaningherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05604439081636666350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-916244525704951667.post-28782294763678018732016-08-19T22:53:09.788-04:002016-08-19T22:53:09.788-04:00Ugh. Joe Morgan.
The way he hated on Ryno I don't think there's a Cub fan out there that ever gave and credence to what Morgan had to say.P-town Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07437348006643978055noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-916244525704951667.post-13842767384485813592016-08-19T14:11:34.264-04:002016-08-19T14:11:34.264-04:00Bravo. I always found it a good chuckle that he wrote Baseball for Dummies, which seemed to be his demographic.Once a Cubhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09335285038636911672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-916244525704951667.post-28237949175261222442016-08-19T09:18:59.876-04:002016-08-19T09:18:59.876-04:00Great detective work. He just wasn't in favor of any new ways of thinking. BobWalkthePlankhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16011292576523365641noreply@blogger.com
