What do I care if a card is glossy or not? They all look the same in album sheets...Joe S.http://pricelesspursuit.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-916244525704951667.post-55579670327644041662009-07-06T14:39:43.603-04:002009-07-06T14:39:43.603-04:00Thanks for the breakdown--I see no need to collect...Thanks for the breakdown--I see no need to collect both Cubs sets (or either, if you are a Topps enthusiast).Jeremy Roehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08913694795770520032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-916244525704951667.post-57476566474134828462009-07-06T13:57:31.708-04:002009-07-06T13:57:31.708-04:00100% Was having this exact same discussion with my...100% Was having this exact same discussion with my brother the ohter day. But I do like O-Pee-Chee. It's got an old-school feel and it's much better than the flagship set. I don't like this year's Goudey at all.

Your photos confirm something that I've thought for a while but never been able to do: commit to ONE set for each card company.night owlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11673973790245316059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-916244525704951667.post-78714669818769352852009-07-06T12:18:22.162-04:002009-07-06T12:18:22.162-04:00I would agree. I do like the Goudey series, but O Pee Chee just falls flat, and the Flagship just seems over glossy and unoriginal. But seeing them side by side like this is just a horrible cop out for Upper Deck.
