While we are still waiting for Heritage to come out I thought I'd show my second favorite color combination from the 1975 set.
Is that a light orange on top? Tan? I'm not sure what to call it. I like the blue on the bottom as it matches the Cubs blue. The red letters at the top are nice too, matching the red letters in the Cubs logo.
Here's my 2024 Heritage version of the orange - blue combination, with Kyle Hendricks mimicking Rick Reuschel.
I flip-flop on this combo. I like that tan was a new color for cards and that combo worked for the Cubs. On other teams, I didn't like it much. Of course, I always wanted the combos to match the team colors.
