1900s - 1970s: 1962 Topps Stamps Dick Ellsworth The 1962 stamps were among the earliest inserts given away by Topps. Ellsworth was 9-20 in 1962 but the Cubs media guide says he led the team in strikeouts and starts. There is no mention of 20 losses.

Five Random Cubs Cards
I've got 14,628 Cubs cards from 120 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.
1980s: 1878 Seven Eleven Chicago #16 Lee Smith We see big Lee Arthur and lots of empty seats.
1990s: 1997 Stadium Club #118 Steve Trachsel Weird random fact...the last two players selected by the Random Number Generator wore #46. Smith had a borderline Hall of Fame career. Trachsel....not so much
2000s: 2001 Victory #342 Bill Mueller This type of card drives me nuts....if you list him as a Cub, them show him as a Cub. If you show him as a Giant, list him as a Giant. No mixing and matching! And no, Mueller did not wear #46.
2010s: 2014 Factory Team Set #12 Welington Castillo Remember when it looked like Castillo would be the Cubs catcher for years to come? That didn't last long!
