Five Random Cubs Cards
I've got 15,181 Cubs cards from 126 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.

1980s: 1984 Topps #437 Mike Proly Proly never pitched for the Cubs in 1984. He was released on April 28, 1984.
1990s: 1995 Illinois State Police Randy Myers The lefty led the National League in saves in the strike-shortened 1995 season. It was the second time in his three years with the Cubs that he was the league leader.
2000s: 2008 Opening Day #207 Kevin Hart This guy was Topps' 2008 version of Rob Zastryzny. The Cubs were the defending division champs and Topps picked a pitcher with eight games of MLB experience to include in this set. There was no card for Ryan Dempster or Kerry Wood, but Kevin Hart got one.
2010s: 2012 Blockbusters Patch #19 Ryne Sandberg That fake headline is a real joke. The actual headline for the trade would have said that the Cubs get Bowa for DeJesus. Ryno was a throw-in.
