2019 Topps Flagship Recap

I've got series two wrapped up, which means I got another year of the Topps Cubs completed.

Here's the 32 Cubs among the 700 cards in the flagship's base set.   That's the most cards they've had in the base for a long time.

The inserts total up at 48.  I still have a hard time wrapping my head around having more inserts than base cards.  I remember the days of 2 or 3 inserts.  Now get off my lawn and enjoy your baseball cards!

  1. More inserts than base cards is something I'll never get used to as well. What really floors me is Sandberg, a retired player, is on six different insert cards. Is that really necessary?

    1. Ryno also has an SP photo variation, not shown up top, though the Banks and Dawson are.
