Five Random Cubs Cards
I've got 17,675 Cubs cards from 213 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.
1900s - 1970s: 1971 Kelloggs #61 Billy Williams Great picture, great signature, great 3-D effect, Great card!!
1980s: 1984 Topps Traded #112 Tim Stoddard The Cubs picked up Stoddard at the tail end of spring training and he had a decent season working out of the bullpen. He pitched in 58 games, posting a record of 10-6 with an ERA of 3.82.
1990s: 1992 Fleer #375 Paul Assenmacher This card looks good because his long last name fills the entire column on the left.
Other cards from the same year look odd with all that blank space/
2000s: 2009 Goudey #40 Alfonso Soriano The orange, red, and blue on this card do not mix together well at all!
2010s: 2019 Donruss #187 Anthony Rizzo Photo Variation Because one regular logo-less card of Anthony Rizzo isn't enough, Panini gives us a second.
1900s - 1970s: 1971 Kelloggs #61 Billy Williams Great picture, great signature, great 3-D effect, Great card!!
