I've got 19,507 Cubs cards from 285 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.
1900s - 1970s: Jello 1963 #172 Billy Williams The RNG gets off to a fantastic start! This Jello card is one of the most expensive cards in my Williams collection. Only two are listed on Ebay right now and they are both listed at over $100 each.
1980s: 1989 Our Own Team #14 Andre Dawson Two Hall of Famers in a row! This is a fairly rare disc, too. Ebay had just one available right now. The Tetley tea version is more common
1990s: 1995 SI for KIds #430 Mark Grace Not a Hall of Famer, but a member of the Hall of Pretty Good.2000s: 2005 Donruss Greats #3 Andre Dawson Another Dawson! This one is in my generic autograph collection, not the rule-following one. Dawson does have great penmanship. 2010s: 2019 Heritage #223 Ben Zobrist The 2B-OF position listing on the card was not found one any of the 1970 cards/
Wasn't aware of that Billy Williams which lines up with it being expensive. It must be fairly rare.
