I don't know. When the Cubs had the staff of Maddox, Prior, Wood, Clement and Zambrano, he had the better record and stats. I wish he was in his prime and pitching now. My goodness, he could hit and hit for power, as well.
I was at a Phillies game vs. the Cubs, and if I recall correctly, Manuel was the pitcher that got lit up the most out of anybody, even Hendricks. Z didn't start doing that til he got to Miami. Though at the very least, if the comparison rings true, Manuel will be a decent pinch hitter.
