I recently picked up my oldest Cubs scorecard yet.
This is the 1932 version, which makes is 90 years old!
This year marks the first year that Blue Valley Butter was the cover sponsor. They would continue to be on the cover through the 1939 season.
My cover has yellowed quite a bit over the past 90 years.
Thanks to Photoshop, here's what it may have looked like when sold.
This card is the first in my collection from the prohibition era. I was curious what the Cubs did and the back cover gives me my answer.
This is an ad for a near-beer. Notice that they claim it has 100% pre-war flavor. You could by it by the bottle for 20¢ or on draught for 15¢.
