Topps 1969 - 2010 Complete Set Prices

Here is my monthly look at complete set prices, taken from the first five completed sales listings on Ebay on January 2. The prices do not include shipping costs. I should probably put an asterisk next to these numbers because they include sets sold on Christmas Eve and Day. Not a lot of people were buying on those days, and those who did got some good deals. Why would anyone list an item that ends on a holiday?

There wasn't much action with the older sets, either. None from 1972 were sold and 1969 - 1970 had either one or two sold.

The lesson to be learned is that if you want to buy any complete sets, check for those that end on a major holiday. Then, get a sniping program, set it up, and enjoy your holiday while the computer does your bidding. You should be able to get some good deals.
