Series Two has another set called "Legends in the Making." It should feature players that are on the way to becoming great players.
Four Cubs were in the Future Stars set.
Three Cubs that were in the Future Stars set are also in Legends in the Making.
The cards are nice enough looking, but why have two insert sets that deal with the same topic?

I think the Future Stars cards are more aesthetically pleasing.
ReplyDeleteThought the same thing when I saw the listings for Series 2. But then it seems that's the only theme Topps has going this year. They had Opening Day inserts in Series 1, which are redundant with the Opening Day product too
ReplyDeleteMoney-grab by Topps. Why else?
ReplyDeleteForget about "in the Making." As part of the Championship team, those guys are all already Legends in Chicago lore!
ReplyDeleteI feel that guys who have been in the league for 3 to 4 years shouldn't qualify for Future Stars.
