Five Random Cubs Cards
I've got 17,306 Cubs cards from 203 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.

1980s: 1984 Team-Issued #44 Dick Ruthven He was the Cubs opening day starter in 1984 and won his first two starts. By the end of the season, he was the #5 starter and didn't pitch in the NLCS.
1990s: 1993 Team-Issued #28 Randy Myers Two in a row from the team-issued sets. The 1993 season was Myers first with the Cubs and he got off to a great start, leading the majors with 53 saves.
2000s: 2003 Heritage #409 Moises Alou Design comment - why did Topps add the big red circle around the blue circle? It makes the logo look like a target.
2010s: 2016 Gypsy Queen #30 Jake Arrieta I always thought it was cool the way Arrieta pulled the ball out of his glove. I also wondered if it tipped off hitters as to what was coming. Apparently not in 2015 or 2016!
