1900s - 1970s: 1971 Topps #726 Paul Popovich Popovich was a favorite of mine because we share the same first name. He also wore #22, which ended up with another favorite, Bill Buckner

Five Random Cubs Cards
I've got 17,341 Cubs cards from 203 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.
1900s - 1970s: 1971 Topps #726 Paul Popovich Popovich was a favorite of mine because we share the same first name. He also wore #22, which ended up with another favorite, Bill Buckner
1980s: 1898 Upper Deck #241 Greg Maddux The skinny stirrups and the stripe on the pants look like one long line.
1990s: 1998 Metal Universe #152 Mickey Morandini I always cringe when I come to players wearing another team's uniform in my Cubs binders.
2000s: 2007 Fleer #267 Carlos Zambrano This is the last card on the last page of my Fleer binder. The brand was gone after 2007.
2010s: 2015 Allen & GInter #183 Darwin Barney 2012 Buyback Barney's last year with the Cubs was 2014, but I got to add a 2015 card to the collection with this 2012 buyback.
