70 more cards were made in the second series' 70 Years of Topps. It's the same concept as in series one, with the cards using designs from the - duh - 70 years of Topps.
Also, was it necessary to have another card for Baez and Rizzo, since they were both included in the first series?
Well, if Topps doesn't use duplicate players like Rizzo and Baez to make it through two series of this insert set, then they need to come up with 140 unique players AND have the foresight to do a little planning. Unfortunately, in an age where Topps has no competition I think that may be asking too much of them.
