The 2002 E-X set has 139 cards. It's an odd number but there is a reason. The rights to the player who was supposed to get #133 were lost two weeks before the set was due to be released. Opps!
There are again two parts to the set, base and prospects. The base makes up the first 100 cards. Prospects #101-130 are numbered while the final ten weren't numbered but were limited to one card per 24 packs.
Four Cubs were in the base and one, Mark Prior, was in the unnumbered prospect section.
Prior's picture is strange, with his shirt untucked. I wonder if this was taken at a press conference form when he was drafted in 2002.
