Five Random Cubs Cards

I've got 21,727 Cubs cards from 316 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.

1900s - 1970s: 1971 Topps #175 Jim Hickman Topps had Hickman pose right at the batting cage on a sunny day in New York.

1980s: 1984 Nestles #267 Carmelo Martinez  He didn't play for the Cubs in 1984 as he was traded to the Padres in the deal that brought Scott Sanderson to Chicago.

1990s: 1992 Star Millennium #48 Ryne Sandberg I like the look of the nameless jerseys, especially now with the new smaller font being used.

2000s: 2005 Heritage #204 Kyle Farnsworth The 2004 season was Farnsworth's final with the Cubs.  He pitched in 72 games and posted a record of 4-5 with an ERA of 4.73.  He was traded to the Tigers just before the start of spring training in 2005.

2010s: 2016 Topps MLB Debut Starlin Castro His debut was one for the record books as he drove in six runs in his first game, a record that still stands.
