The Missing Heritage Rub-Offs

I had some free time last night to play around with Photoshop.

I was able to make what Topps didn't: Heritage Rub-Offs.

The 1966 Cubs had five rub-offs in the insert set.  I cut the 2015 version short by one and came up with four.

 

 

I tried to center everything on mine, something that was lacking with most of the originals.

I really like the way the blue, yellow and red all seem to pop.  These really would have been a cool gimmick in Heritage.  Topps sure missed out on a great opportunity.
