Billy Buck Was A Hairy Dude


I remember that Bill Buckner had a unibrow and a bushy mustache.

But check out this Donruss card from 1981.


Billy Buck has some major neck hair, too.




He also found an easy way to hide that pesky problem.

    I was only a kid... and wasn't into checking out older men... but I'm pretty sure the whole hairy chest and thick 'stache was a style in the late 70's and early 80's. Y'know... the whole Tom Selleck/Magnum PI look. Maybe neck hair and unibrows were the rave in the era too.

    Good one! Hey Bill, they invented something new. It's called a tweezers. (But not for chest and neck hair. Ouch!)
