Yesterday brought the end of an era, the end of the Seth Frankoff era. He was dropped from the 40-man roster as the Cubs cleared space for their September call-ups.
As I was reading the news yesterday, I was thinking that I had somehow missed making a card for him. He pitched in one game, on June 9. He gave up two runs over two innings. I have no recollection of that game or of him.
Then I checked and saw that I did make a card for him back in June. I don't remember doing that, but apparently I did. He may be gone from the Cubs, but his fake, homemade card will live on forever.
Aye, we hardly knew ye. :D
