Bazooka had baseball cards on the bottom of their gum boxes from 1960 through 1971. Topps resurrected the Bazooka name on cards in 1988 with a 22 card set. One card was available inside specially marked packages of Bazooka gum and candy.
Topps followed up the 1988 set with another 22 cards in 1989. This set was called "Shining Star" and again you'd get one card inside specially marked Bazooka gum and candy packages.
This time we had two Cubs.
Ryne Sandberg was among the 22 players in that set.
