2017 Bowman Cubs

Bowman 2017 was released a week or so ago and it is loaded with Cubs.  On the 100-player base set checklist, seven are Cubs.

 
 
 
 
 
 

There aren't any surprised among the seven and Hendricks, Baez, and Russell weren't included.  I'm pretty sure Topps didn't want to make one team 10% of the set (unless the team wears an interlocking NY on their jersey).

The card design has the same elements that Topps has used since 2014 - the Bowman B in the corner, a team logo, and the player's name and position.  Topps didn't go crazy with this one.

    I agree. Non-obtrusive design and decent photos. I particularly like the Rizzo and Schwarb.
