2018 Allen & GInter Mini Relics Cubs

These are among my favorites, the Allen and Ginter framed mini-relics.  Topps has been doing this since the start of Ginter in 2006 and should never stop.  They are just a very classy looking card.

Four Cubs were included on this year's checklist, all the big names - Baez, Bryant, Darvish, and Rizzo.

 

 

It's a safe bet to say that the Darvish card has a piece from a Rangers jersey.

The Rizzo card has a piece from the Cubs throwback 1970's road pajama uniform.


They wore them on August 6, 2016 against the A's.

    At least you have some Cubs! The Tigers have a total of 4 cards in the base set, 2 insert cards, and a Cabrera full relic card. That is it!!

    That pajama relic is sweet! If you don't mind me asking, was it more expensive than a typical Rizzo relic because of the jersey swatch?
