Cubs #42 & 43

On Wednesday the two newest Cubs made their debuts and both were successful.

Cole Hamels went five effective innings, allowing one unearned run while striking out nine.

Brandon Kintzler took over for Hamels in the 6th and tossed 1 1/3 innings of shutout ball.

I sure hope they can keep it up for the next two months.  If they do, they may get to go for another month.
