Five Random Cubs Cards
I've got 15,994 Cubs cards from 134 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.
1900s - 1970s: 1970 Topps #454 Ron Santo All Star Santo was an All Star nine different times in his career. This is the third of four times he was on an All Star card.
1980s: 1986 Sportflics Decade Greats #29 Ernie Banks I was able to capture both of the pictures on this card, showing a smiling and swinging Mr. Cub.
1990s: 1994 Topps #422 Rey Sanchez Rey is signing his 1993 Topps card. Sanchez became the Cubs second baseman in June after Ryne Sandberg retired.
2000s: 2000 Pacific #87 Chad Meyers Meyers hit just .173 in 36 games for the Cubs in 2000. There's a pretty good chance that the swing on the card led to an out.
2010s: 2011 Opening Day #6 Aramis Ramirez And how did Ramirez do on Opening Day in 2011? He was 2 for 5, but didn't score or have any RBIs. The Cubs lost to the Pirates 6-3.

Is the Sanchez from spring training or did the dugouts at Wrigley used to have chain link fence on top?
