Five Random Cubs Cards

I've got 13,775 Cubs cards from 105 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.

1900s - 1970s: 1915 Cracker Jack #21 Heinie Zimmerman  He was quite the character...a member of the last Cubs World Championship team, Triple Crown winner in 1912, and unofficially banned from baseball for throwing games while with the Giants in 1919.

1980s: 1988 Star Gold #77 Mark Grace  Grace was included in the Star Gold set in his rookie season of 1988.

1990s: 1999 Topps #336 Jeff Blauser Most think of Blauser as a Brave, but he spent the final two years of his career with the Cubs.  In 1999 he hit .240 in 104 games.  He became a free agent after the season, but was not signed by any team, ending his career.

2000s: 2002 Bowman #116 Juan Cruz  The 2002 season was not very good for Juan Cruz.  He pitched mainly out of the bullpen, starting nine games and relieving in 36.  He went 3-11 with an ERA of 3.98.

2010s: 2015 Gypsy Queen Mini #133 Ernie Banks (variation)  This mini showing Ernie at Connie Mack Stadium is a photo variation card. The uniform he's wearing looks like the ones the Cubs wore on Friday.  It was a great look.
