Set Size: O-Pee-Chee - 396, Topps 792
Cubs in set: O-Pee-Chee - 14, Topps - 26
The 1984 O-Pee-Chee set is half the size of the Topps set, but made up of players from the entire Topps set. The Cubs set also came in at nearly half the size, 14 compared to 26 with Topps. OPC chose wisely from the 26 and went with the main players. Leaving out players like Warren Brusstar and Steve Lake was a good thing!
Differences between the cards were the usual ones.
1984 OPC baseball was the first pack of cards that I ripped. I still have a few of the cards from that pack but have traded the rest. Good memories!
