I've got 20,360 Cubs cards from 301 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.
1900s - 1970s: 1971 Dell Today Glenn Beckert You don't see too many players choke up anymore. I remembered Beckert choking up even more that what we see in the picture.
1980s: 1989 Topps Stickers #54 Andre Dawson The 1989 stickers had a pretty boring design.
1990s: 1998 Upper Deck #8 Sammy Sosa This is a nice action shot. It's also a nice ad for Nike with the swoosh on the bottom of the shoe.2000s: 2000 Invincible #3 Mark Grace This is my only Mark Grace relic card. His time with the Cubs was coming to an end at the same time that relics started showing up. 2010s: 2017 Topps #442 Javier Baez When this card came out five years ago it was a card of the second baseman of the World Series champs. Now it's a card of the Tiger's shortstop.
