Looking Back at 2016

Total Number of Cubs cards in the collection from 2016: It should come as no surprise, but 2016 was the #1 for the Cubs collection this decade, 699 cards.  It was a great year to be a Cub fan!

Total Number of brands collected: 27.  Lots of  brands made their debut or return: Baseball Caramel, Bunt, Gold Label, Holiday, Marketside, New Era, and Now.

Brands and number of Cubs cards:

The player with the most cards:  Kris Bryant took over the top spot with 77 cards... crazy for a guy in his second year in the majors.

The nastiest looking card: Putting a Cardinal on a Wrigley Field card is just plain wrong.

My favorite card: Another tie... two from one of the best nights, ever!

  1. Great choices for favorite!
Rizzo was leading the way the last couple of collecting seasons will totals in the low thirties and then Bryant comes in with 77? Wow.
