The Cubs picked up pitcher Jose Cuas from the Royals at the trade deadline. Going to KC was Nelson Valezquez, you know, the guy that Topps seemed fit to include in just about every set.
Cuas has made three appearances for the Cubs thus far and has yet to allow a run. So far so good!
Each time I see his name in the box score I think there's a typo. Cuas is only one letter away from Cubs. Eventually it'll sink in!
