2023 Topps Chrome Cubs

 Topps Chrome was released on July 26.  A few days later I purchased all of the Cubs cards from a single seller on Sportlots.  With just eight cards it was a pretty easy and inexpensive thing to do.

The 220-card Chrome set is pretty much the same as it has been in the past.  The cards are chrome versions of the flagship set.  There are all sorts of parallels for each cards, autographs, and inserts.  I didn't bother with any of them.  All I needed were the eight base Cubs, which fit nicely into a single protector page.

 

 

 

 

There's only one dud among the eight, Nelson Velazquez, who was traded to the Royals at the trade deadline.
