Damn! You beat me to the Joe Maddon custom! If I'm going to get beaten to the punch, the least you could do is to create a nice custom, and you did just that.
I don't know if we'll win the WS but things seems to be much more planned out and organized than under any other Cubs regime. Welcome Joe! Great job on the card.
They had to do the press conference at the Cubby Bear due to the construction. Maddon bought the first round for the reporters. I can verify the construction part, as I drove past last week. The left field bleachers are totally gone; it's open from Waveland to the field. The right field bleachers have the new steel framing, overhanging the sidewalk. This'll be interesting to see next spring!
