Spent Part of the Weekend in Paris

Mrs. WW and I had a wonderful time this past weekend, spending part of it in Paris.  And as you must do any time you visit Paris, you see the Eiffel Tower.

There it is, the Eiffel Tower, in Paris, Michigan,

along the shore of the Muskegon River.

We spent two days with our bikes on the White PIne Trail.

We started Saturday morning in Big Rapids and pedaled 42 miles north to Cadillac.

Heading north also meant heading up in elevation.  We like to have the climb on the first day, which makes the return trip on day two a much easier ride.

We had sunshine both days and temperatures in the 50s and 60s, perfect October weather.

The leaves were turning beautiful colors too.

We stopped in Paris on the way home.  There isn't much of a town, but there is a nice park at an old trout hatchery  That's where the Eiffel Tower was located.

It was a really nice weekend!

  1. Yep, perfect fall weather.
We have a Paris in Illinois as well. I don't think our Paris has an Eiffel Tower though.

  2. Big fan of fall weather... and the changing colors of the leaves. Awesome photos. You're quite the photographer.
