On Thursday the 38th player got into a game for the 2017 Cubs.
Pitcher Jack Leathersich was recalled from Iowa on Tuesday and saw action on Thursday. He pitched 2/3rds of an inning and gave up a hit and four walks. After the game he was sent back to Iowa. We may never see Jack Leathersich again.
