The Newest Cub

The 35th player made an appearance for the Cubs yesterday.  Pitcher Seth Frankoff made his major league debut, almost seven years to the day he was drafted by Oakland.  He's made a bunch of stops along the way, but persevered and made it to the major leagues.

Unfortunately his debut did not go well.  He gave up a two run homer in two innings of work and was tagged for the loss.  His ERA stands at 9.00.  I hope he does better next time out.


There aren't many pictures showing him as a Cub, so I went with this one because the look on his face matched up with his performance on Friday.
