Two New Relics

I finished with the autographs yesterday.  Today I'll move on to the relics.

I added two new unlicensed relics. One you've already seen...

...this dual auto/relic card of Jeimer Candelario.  Since his stuff is a little pricey, this one card will have to suffice for both collections.

This is the other new relic and Josh Vitter's stuff is not pricey at all.  I was able to get both the autograph card and this dual card for less than the price of the one Candelario card.

The relics tally is up to 86 cards.  They are divided perfectly between vertical and horizontal orientation, with 43 of each.

  1. You've probably talked about it at some point but do you have separate collections of autos and relics of retired Cubs? I mean, I'm sure you have some but do you actively collect them the way you do the active players?

  2. I don't have any rules for the retired guys. I just go after whoever strikes my fancy, '69 Cubs, guys from the Seventies like Cardenal and Kingman, ’84 Cubs,
