I've got 20,129 Cubs cards from 301 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.
1900s - 1970s: 1975 Topps #658 Vic Harris Harris was one of two two young infielders the Cubs picked up from the Rangers for Fergie Jenkins. One became a multi-time batting champ while the other couldn't crack the Mendoza line while with the Cubs. Harris was the bust. 1980s: 1982 Fleer #603 Lee Smith Smith was a pretty imposing looking guy, wasn't he! 1990s: 1991 Fleer Ultra #55 George Bell 1991 was the first year for Fleer Ultra and George Bell as a Cub. Ultra lasted a lot longer.2000s: 2001 Victory #347 Team Checklist Look at the ERA of the team leader - 4.41. Yikes! 2010s: 2019 Factory Team Set # CC4 Jon Lester I miss both the factory team sets and Jon Lester.
