I've got 21,073 Cubs cards from 316 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.
1900s - 1970s: 1970 Fleer World Series #7 The Cubs made their fourth series appearance in five years, but fell to the A's in five games. It was the last hurrah for the Tinkers-Evers-Chance team.
1980s: 1989 Score #336 Damon Berryhill He played in just 91 games due to shoulder issues. He missed the first month of the season. In August, a torn rotator cuff shelved him for the rest of the year.
1990s: 1992 Conlon #416 Larry French French pitched in two World Series for the Cubs (1935 and 1938) and was an All-Star in 1940. He topped 15 wins four times and has the second highest WAR among all Cubs left-handed pitchers.2000s: 2007 Bowman's Best #74 Felix Pie This guy came with lots of hype but never delivered.
