Five Random Cubs Cards

I've got 12,132 Cubs cards from 87 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.

1900s - 1970s: 1961 Fleer #50 Ralph Kiner  I promise that this was not fixed.  The RNG really did pick this card of Hall of Famer Ralph Kiner, who passed away ten days ago.  It seems odd that Fleer chose to use a picture of Kiner with the Cubs and not the Pirates, since he played most of his career with the Bucos.

1980s: 1982 Team-Issued Dickie Noles  This card comes from the Cubs' very first giveaway set.  Red Lobster sponsored the set, given away at Wrigley Field on August 20, 1982.  Noles was one of the many ex-Phillies acquired by GM Dallas Green.  The 1982 season was Noles' first as a starter and he was 10-13 with an ERA of 4.42.

1990s: 1992 Topps Traded #109 Sammy Sosa

2000s: 2001 Upper Deck National Pastime #70 Ernie Banks  I had an entire post about this card here.  The problem with it is a pretty big one....that's not #14 Ernie Banks, its a white guy, good ol' #19 Daryl Robertson.

2010s: 2013 Team-Issued Giveaway #33 Randy Hundley  This is from last year's giveaway set.  The Cubs gave Randy game #33, which was June 9, 2013, because he wore #9...#9 on the 9th.  The Cubs beat the Pirates 4-1 that day, with Edwin Jackson going seven innings to pick up the win.
