Five Random Cubs Cards

I've got 13,950 Cubs cards from 107 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.

1900s - 1970s: 1959 Topps #153 Jim Marshall  The future Cubs skipper is shown in an Orioles uniform at Yankee Stadium.  The Cubs had picked him off the waiver wire in August, 1958.  The '59 season was his only full season with the Cubs.

1980s: 1989 Score #13 Jeff Pico Pico spent most of the '89 season working middle relief for the Cubs.  He went 3-1 in 53 games.

1990s: 1990 Leaf #255 Dwight Smith  After a great rookie season in 1989, Smith really tailed off in 1990.  All his offensive numbers were down and he played in just 117 games.  In fact, of the Cubs final 41 games, he started just 11

2000s: 2007 Topps #175 Matt Murton  Orange Guy!  Like Smith above, Murton tailed off during his second full big league season, 2007.  The Cubs gave up on him in 2008 and traded him to the A's in the trade that brought Rich Harden to the Cubs

2010s: 2011 MGL Black Andre Dawson  I got this while I was in my "have to have all the relics" phase.  I don't regret getting over that phase.
