Another Cub In the Living Set

Topps is weird.

They went six months without include any Cub in the Living Set.

Now, we get our second Cub in the past four weeks.

And its not just any Cub, it's Mr. Cub.

It will be interesting to see what sort of print run this card generates.  The last Cub, Jason Heyward, had the lowest print run of the entire set.  I'd think that Ernie's will be a decent run.

My guess?

3,200

We'll see when the sale closes next Wednesday.

  1. I am worried that sales have been weak and that they might discontinue the line. Normally every 3 or 4 weeks a Hall of Famer is included, they did 2 this week after just doing Tony Gwynn. I bought them, but long term I hope it sticks around for them to still do Mays, Mantle, Gerhig, etc.

    1. Sales are down but I think because the National Convention was in Chicago this past weekend is the reason we saw Cubs player, White Sox player and a cardinal this week. They had the cards on-hand. Last year they had an Indian and Pirate when it was held in Cleveland.
