Baseball Cards Magazine 1992 / 1970 Cubs

The 1992 Baseball Cards Magazine set grew from the previous year by 16 cards, now at 88.  But the extra cards didn't mean extra Cubs.  In fact, the Cubs were down to just two cards.

But they both are Hall of Famers, so I guess that's a good thing.

The duplication of the 1970 design, though, was not a good thing.

The team name... not close, as it is way too thin.

The player's names.... even worse.  I hope Topps does a better job with Heritage next year.

  1. At first glance they don't look too bad, but when you show them side-by-side the differences are quite noticeable. I echo your statement about Heritage next year.
