Five Random Cubs Cards

I've got 21,682 Cubs cards from 316 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.

1900s - 1970s: 1969 Topps #602 Cubs Rookies I'm sure that Mets fans do not like this card at all.  On July 8 at Shea Stadium, Young misplayed two balls in the outfield that turned a Cubs lead of 3-1 into a 4-3 loss.  Jim Qualls replaced him in centerfield the next night and broke up Tom Seaver's bid for a perfect game with a one out single in the ninth inning.

1980s: 1987 Fleer #569 Keith Moreland One of many cards from this set that show the jersey logo right next to the card's Cubs logo.

1990s: 1991  Stadium Club #94 Luis Salazar At age 35, Salazar matched his career high by hitting 14 homers in 1991.  HIs total included his first two-homer game, accomplished against the Giants on June 11.

2000s: 2004 SP Legendary Cuts #38 Fergie Jenkins I always appreciate it when modern cards of Fergie feature pictures of him from his first stint with the Cubs.  That's the time when he was Fergie, the dominant pitcher.

2010s: 2019 Topps Total #763 Pedro Strop After four consecutive seasons with an ERA under 3.00, Strop's ballooned to 4.97 in 2019.  That was not a good time to have a bad year, as he became a free agent after the season.  The Cubs opted to not re-sign him.
