The arrival of Bowman is big deal for prospect collectors. For a team collector like me its more of a "whatever" kind of thing. For a set with 150 cards, if you divide it among 30 teams then each team gets five cards.
The Cubs got six!!!
There must be light at the end of the tunnel since they're above the average!
Arrietta, Baez, Castro, Fowler, Rizzo, and Bryant. The only surprise is that Jon Lester wasn't included. The Cubs picked up Fowler a month after inking Lester, so timing wasn't an issue. It just seems odd to leave out one of the bigger free agent signings.
And Baez, I think he's been in just about every Topps release this year. Baez cards are in the flagship Series One, Opening Day, Factory Team Set, Heritage, Stickers, Gypsy Queen, and now Bowman. Not bad for a guy that hasn't played in a single MLB game this year.
