A week ago Friday a church member stopped in the school office to talk to me. I was teaching so he spoke with the secretary. He wondered if I was doing anything on Friday or Saturday night.
He has Cubs season tickets.
He had an extra ticket for the two NLDS games and was offering them to me.
And if you remember from earlier in the week, #1 son was getting married on Saturday.
Talk about bad timing. Well.....
