Heritage typically has several insert sets and this year is no exception. By my count there are six sets that feature players. Unfortunately, only one of those players is a Cub.
Yup, in six sets with a total of 105 cards, there is just one lone Cub card.
Justin Steele is a New Age Performer, but just barely. He is card #25 in a 25-card set.
So here is how the Heritage insert sets worked out:
- 1975 Baseball Sensations - 20 cards - No Cubs
- 1975 Topps in 3D - 25 cards - No Cubs
- Baseball Flashbacks - 15 cards - No Cubs
- Hidden Gems - 5 cards - No Cubs
- New Age Performers - 25 cards - One Cub!!
- Then and Now - 15 cards - No Cubs
There are some sets that I didn't include. I skipped the Chrome /999 cards because I consider them parallels, not a unique insert set. The Oversized box loaders are parallels, too, though bigger in size.
Also omitted is the Zoo's Who set because they have pictures of animals, not players. There are three Cubs cards in that set and I'll have a post tomorrow on them.
