Five Random Cubs Cards

I've got 21,075 Cubs cards from 316 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.

1900s - 1970s: 1977 Topps #124 George Mitterwald  The Baron had the best day of his season on July 28.  He hit two home runs on a day that saw the Cubs top the Reds 16-15 in 13 wild innings.

1980s: 1988 Fleer #434 Jim Sundberg  The Fleer team set includes Sundberg, Sandberg, and Sanderson.  It must have driven a post-stroke Harry Caray crazy!

1990s: 1993 Topps #487 Jessie Hollins  He missed the entire 1993 season due to rotator cuff surgery.  He never really recovered and was released by the Cubs after a few games in A ball in 1994.

2000s: 2005 Topps Total #597 Joe Borowski & Sergio Mitre  Yes, said the Topps folks, we will call the set Total and try to give cards to everyone,  but we don't have to give them a full card.  Half should be good enough.

2010s: 2017 Allen and Ginter What A Day #76 Jake Arrieta Arrieta's day celebrates his second career no hitter, when he and the Cubs dominated the Reds 16-0.
