Here is my monthly look at Topps complete set prices for all the years in which I own a set, 1969 - 2022. The prices are from the five most recent Ebay sold auction listings taken on June 21 and do not include shipping.
- The 1972 set saw a big drop while the 1974 set had a huge gain. I wonder if the '74 upward bump is because of Heritage and collectors wanting to get the original set.
- There is lots of red from 1985 - 2000, as only two sets saw an increase.
- 2014 had a big drop, but the price is still much higher than the years before or after it.
- 2019 is also an outlier, much higher that the surrounding sets.
- Next month I'll start tracking the 2023 set as hand-collated sets will be sold.
