1900s - 1970s: 1976 Carousel Rick Monday The 1976 season was Monday's last with the Cubs. It was also the year he saved the flag at Dodger Stadium. 1980s: 1989 Donruss #49 Rafael Palmeiro Palmeiro was a Ranger in 1989, traded on December 5, 1988.
1990s: 1996 Circa #110 Brian McRae The card quotes Mark Grace saying McRae is the most underrated player in the NL. Grace was wrong.2000s: 2008 X #19 Aramis Ramirez Do we now refer to this set as the Twitter set? 2010s: 2011 Topps #76 Tom Gorzelanny I do not like the early print deadlines the card companies have. Here's another card of a guy that didn't spend the season with the Cubs as Gorzelanny was trade to the Nationals on January 19.
